The Horizon Fund receives generous donations from incredible alumni, staff, former staff and friends of University of Staffordshire to provide financial support to our students to help them reach their potential.
This fund is only available to people in the categories listed below. Please do not apply if you are not in one of these:
Study location (university) - University of Staffordshire
Level of study - Undergraduate (Levels 4, 5 and 6)
Primary term-time address - Within 20 miles our Staffordshire or Shropshire campuses (Stoke-on-Trent, Blackheath Lane, Lichfield, Shrewsbury)
Access route - College or School 6th Form having studied A Level, T Level or BTEC
Mode of Attendance - Full-time on campus student paying full fees
Household Income - Below £30,000 per annum as assessed by your student finance provider
Previous Study - First time studying at higher education level regardless of whether previous study was completed
Progression (Level 5 and 6 students) - No repeat years or levels
Assessment Grades (Level 5 and 6 students) - Must be achieving an average of 60% or over (2:1 or 1st) in current university assessments
Funding Support - Not receiving any other university bursary or scholarship this academic year
