About the fund

The Bath Spa Bursary is available to first time, home UK, undergraduate students, who start their first year with BSU from September 2025 onwards. Eligible students will receive a bursary of £1,050.

The scheme is part of Bath Spa University’s Access Agreement with the Government, and is aimed at widening access to degree courses by removing financial barriers to education for students from under-represented groups.

Students who joined BSU prior to September 2025 will remain on the bursary scheme that was in place when they started their studies with BSU, as per the Access and Participation Plan in place at the time. See our website or MyServices for more information
